Colophon
I built and designed this website in 2026. It is hand-coded in plain HTML and CSS, with no content management system, no tracking scripts, and no third-party advertising of any kind.
I aim to update it at the end of every month, but life really dictates when it happens. Unless otherwise indicated, treat everything here as work in progress.
Typography
The site is set in Diatype, a typeface designed by Dinamo, an independent type design studio based in Berlin. It is used here at a regular weight throughout.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cargo.
Privacy
This website does not use cookies, does not track visitors, and does not collect any personal data. No analytics software is installed. I would not even know what to do with all of that.
A note on the name
A colophon is a brief note, traditionally placed at the end of a book, describing the circumstances of its production: the typefaces used, the printer, the paper. The practice dates back to the scribal era, when copyists would add a note at the close of a manuscript recording when and where they had finished their work, sometimes including a small complaint about the effort involved. This page is offered in that spirit, sans complaints (you're welcome).
